Week 10

I hope everybody has had a great weekend.  I spent 6 hours on Saturday completing in the Spirited Women's Adventure Race in Taupo.  We trekked across farmlands, did orienteering, 25km of mountain biking, 2km of paddle boarding, clay bird shooting and map reading.  It was certainly an adventure with lots of laughs and good times.  My muscles are a bit tender but not too bad.

Permission slips for our trip to the Mount went home on Friday, they are due back along with $5 by this Wednesday please.  If you would prefer for your child to travel by car (in a car seat and seat belt) as apposed to the bus please contact me and I will ensure this is done.  Thanks to all our parent helpers who have offered to come on the trip.  On the bus we can take 4 adult helpers and the rest will car pool in private vehicles which I will arrange once permission slips are all in.

Also on Friday your child would have brought their Religious Education book home with them, please look at this together and discuss what we have been learning about in regards to Lent and Caritas.  There is a parent comment page for you to write comments in.  Once you have finished please return this book t class so we can continue putting work in next term.

Wednesday 5th April CARITAS fundraiser-mufti day a gold coin donation please. Permission letters due in.

Thursday Stations of the Cross @9.00 am in the church

Friday Palm Donkey procession on the school field at 9.45am. Children can wear "Jesus clothes": suggestion could be a white sheet with rope for waist band, or similar to illustrations.

Looking forward to another great week of learning.
